Installation

Get Markdown Viewer installed in just 30 seconds.

Chrome Extension

The primary platform for Markdown Viewer is the Chrome browser extension.

Step 1: Visit Chrome Web Store

Open your Chrome browser and navigate to:

🚀 Chrome Web Store - Markdown Viewer

Step 2: Add to Chrome

  1. Click the “Add to Chrome” button
  2. In the popup dialog, click “Add extension”
  3. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete

Step 3: Verify Installation

You should see the Markdown Viewer icon in your browser’s extension toolbar. If you don’t see it:

  1. Click the puzzle piece icon (Extensions) in Chrome’s toolbar
  2. Find “Markdown Viewer” in the list
  3. Click the pin icon to keep it visible

Firefox Extension

Firefox users can install from Firefox Add-ons:

  1. Visit Firefox Add-ons - Markdown Viewer
  2. Click “Add to Firefox”
  3. Confirm the installation

VS Code Extension

For VS Code users who want to preview and export Markdown within the editor:

  1. Visit the link above
  2. Click Install
  3. Or open VS Code, go to Extensions (Ctrl+Shift+X / Cmd+Shift+X)
  4. Search for “Markdown Viewer Extension”
